GO Team - Texas

I am so thankful for our latest GO Team (Global Outreach Team) that has just returned from several days of hard work in Port Arthur, Texas. They worked with Samaritan's Purse in their relief efforts for the folks who were hit by hurricane Ike. In addition to the work of this team, we were able to send in excess of $16,000 to Samaritan's Purse as our September Missions project offering.

I am also thankful to be part of church that willing opens its hearts and its wallets to help those in need. This only represents a small portion of countless acts of mercy and love that our congregation is involved in on a daily basis. Rembember, As we touch others this is how we touch the heart of God....

"I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me." (Matthew 25:40)
